Design Features

1. Fertilizers containing nitrogen, sulfur and other ingredients may produce gas.

2. Liquid fertilizers may also produce gas during storage due to factors such as temperature and pressure.

3. In the production process, if high pressure or high temperature is used, or if microbial fermentation reactions are involved, gas may be produced.

Liquid fertilizers produce gas during storage or transportation, so the packaging container of liquid fertilizers requires exhaust and sealing. So our company has designed a lid with an exhaust valve with a one-way exhaust function.

Our venting valve is made of EPTFE film, which is made of expanded PTFE and then stretched. The expanded PTFE membrane forms a mesh structure in all three dimensions, with more than 9 billion micropores per square inch of the membrane surface.

EPTFE membrane is made of expanded polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) and then stretched. After being stretched, the PTFE membrane forms a net-like structure in three-dimensional direction, and there are more than 9 billion micropores per square inch on the surface of the membrane.

Excellent stretching technology can make the microporous diameter of 0.1-0.3 microns between the far smaller than the water beads more than 10,000 times, so that the eptfe film has a superior water-blocking properties (more than the IP67 standard waterproofing requirements), the smallest water beads can not be passed through the film, and at the same time the diameter of the microporous than the water vapor molecules more than 700 times larger.

Therefore, while the membrane is superbly waterproof (as well as blocking oil, dust, bacteria, etc.), it also allows gas molecules to easily pass through the membrane’s micropores, allowing air to reach a balanced air pressure.
